※こちらのインターンシップでは渡航前に3か月間のオンラインインターンシップへの参加が必須になっています。

◆韓国にて地域経済活性化を推進するスタートアップ企業でのハイブリットインターン

"We are a start-up originating from the University of Toronto, Canada. Our goal is to build a *co-retailing platform to connect local entrepreneurs with suitable retail space and to each other. We wish to become a Urban-Tech company, working with city officials to solve the problem of deserted shopping arcades(Retail Apocalypse), and create sustainable and resilient commercial districts. Currently, we are building our Generative Mapping platform using AI.

＊Co-Retailingとは「相性の良い商品やサービスを提供している小売店同士をオンライン上で組み合わせて、一つの店舗でスペースのシェアをして販売すること。」

We are currently engaging in some projects in Tokyo, so we are looking for interns based in Japan. We are also in the process of setting up our office in Seoul, so we welcome candidates who are interested in our hybrid program to come to Korea. In the near future, we plan to setup a base in Taiwan, so stay tuned.

As our team is spread out globally, most of our work is done virtually via slack, and we have regular meetings in our virtual office, and via Zoom. In Korea, we have few meetings in person, and on those days, interns can come to the co-wokirng office. 

◆インターンシップ内容 

"As we are transforming in to an AI startup, we need interns who have an AI First mindset, who take initiative, instead of waiting for instructions. As a startup, we will not be like internships at big companies, so interns will have to be adaptable to the many tasks that will be required of them. Tasks can change anytime, so we would like someone who is flexible. and self-motivated.  

We are currently recruiting for 4 positions: (Possibility of a cross-department work) 

1. Marketing/Research/Content creator
- Come up with marketing campaigns for our projects, do market research, and making contents for our map to make it more useful for ordinary users.

2. UX/UI Designer
- Make the design of our products better, including our map, mobile apps and websites.

3. Web/Mobile Engineer
-Help build up our tech stack, including our Generative Mapping platform, web and mobile apps, and internal build tools.

4. AI/ML Engineer
-Help build our Generative Mapping platform, where we are training and fine-tuning our own AI models. Help with creating good datasets to make our models better."

In addition to tasks related to each positon, interns will handle various other tasks unique to a startup, such as translation, research, and content creation!
